  • My son had tubes put in January of last year. They ended up falling out a couple of months ago. It's a day procedure so we went in first thing in the morning and was out of there by early afternoon. The actual procedure only takes a couple of minutes!!! Just remember that they are usually pretty cranky coming out of their anesthesia so just comfort and understand :o)

    Good Luck!!

  • The procedure itself lasted 20 minutes! Its the paper work and routine prepping that kept us there a little longer. Also, dd spit up a little bit on the ride home. She had annastesia(sp?lol) and was on an empty stomach so I guess she was nausious in the car. That was the only neg thing but nothign to worry about. Completely safe and a great choice

  • It took twenty minutes for ear tubes and removing the adenoids. Best thing we ever did- no ear infections since. Now she has to have her tonsils out and her adenoids might have grown back, too. They'll also check on her ears at that time.
