What spices to ya add? anything special?

  • Hmm. Organic tomato sauce, crushed tomatoes and tomato paste. Red pepper flakes, Oregano, fresh italian parsley, paprika, garlic, minced onion, course black pepper... etc.

  • salt,brown sugar, italian spices like basil garlic oregano, red pepper flakes, fresh ground pepper, and sometimes grated carrot. It cooks down to nothing but adds some sweetness and makes it cling to the pasta.

  • basil, bay leaves, garlic, oregano, black pepper, sugar (to cut down acidity) basil (purple and green)
    just go with what you feel, I am sure it will come out GREAT

  • Salt, pepper, italian seasoning, garlic onion and green pepper..sometimes sugar but usually on my own plate!

  • I just use canned sauce and then add Garlic/Pepper seasoning mix. Gives it the garlic taste with a little kick but not too much!!! Love it yummy!!

  • what ever spices you like...This summer I made some home made sause.
    I had a garden. take the skin off the tomatoes, put tomatoe in boiling water for a min.
    the cold water. skin come off easyer that way. cut them up. put in pot. put in a little water
    suger, green pepper, pepper, salt, garlic, onion, italian season. let simmer for 6 to 8 hrs.
