  • As soon as I found out that I was having a boy,we called him Mr. B!

  • Yeah, we called him The Bean until he was born :o)

I actually had a thing about calling hiim by his name before he was born - I didn't even want to tell anyone the name we picked out b/c I didn't want it to be used til he was born. That's why we had a nickname.

  • We couldn't decide on a name for our 3rd and called him Rumplestiltskin in utero.

  • I called him Ducky from 8-12 weeks because he looked exactly like a duck on the first ultrasound. At 12 weeks, he looked like Skeletor on the ultrasound, so that was his next nickname. On the last ultrasound, he looked like a sock monkey, so that was his last nickname. I never referred to him by name, which is a good thing because the ultrasound tech said I was having a girl for certain, and I had a boy.

  • We couldn't decide on a name, so to mess with our family, we told them that if it was a boy it would be Thor, and if it was a girl it would be Thora! You should've seen the reactions!

  • With this one, our son has named it Kaki. We have no idea where he got the name from, but that's what we've been calling it in the meantime. It works :)

  • I also used whale, since in the early stages the fetus looks like a sperm wale. Yes, a sperm whale is a type of whale.
