Is it okay to exercise during the Two Week Wait?

If so...what kinds of exercise are best during the 2WW and early pregnancy?

I've been doing 10 minutes of the stationary bike after breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Is that okay?

  • Any exercise that is gradually entered into is good. You don't want to go from a sedentary lifestyle to kick boxing but you can work up to it.

Just make sure that any really strenuous activity is discussed with your doctor first.

  • If you normally sit on the couch then decide to do a triathalon then no not okay. But, doing 10 minutes of bike, going for walks, treadmill, light weightlifting are all usually okay throughout a whole pregnancy, I don't see how the 2 ww could make any difference.
