My dd is only 4 so Im asking wayyyy in advance. What do you parents of teens do when it comes to safe sex? Do you give bc and hope that they will be safe without condoning? Or do you do nothing and tell them not to have sex? Im in the middle with both ways. And Im sure Ill be just as torn when shes of age! What do you do as mothers in this situation? And what do you tell your sons if you dont have daughters?

  • We talked very openly about safe sex with our boys. There was a very good sex ed in our schools. We told them what we would like them to consider/do. But in the end, when they are put in the siutation, it is their decision. They did things (we know now) that were risky and we are grateful eveything turned out OK. At some point you cross your fingers and hope for the best.
