Is this a good idea?

I'm thinking about starting a rotating system in my play group. Each person that wanted to participate would have to buy a certain list of things. And then however often we would rotate them. I'm thinking each box would have to have like a board game, a couple of books, an outside toy and a few other things.

  • In our state there is a lending library for toys and books. It's great and there's no charge! Sounds similar to what you want to set up, but easier and free.

  • Sounds like a good idea. Maybe you could make a list of generalizations & they could choose what to put in their box (outside game, game, board game, quiet activity, arts/craft) and when it's their turn to provide activities, they would bring their box. Sounds fair & reasonable.

  • Yes, as long as the list is reasonable and everyone agrees to it.
