cyst that litteraly has hair and teeth

So I went to the doctor today because I was having excruciating pain during sex then it started getting randomly through the day. They did an ultrasound and found a Cyst that has hair and teeth and I have a blood clot in it. I'm going in Tuesday for surgery and I'm terrified! does anyone have any advise?has anyone heard of these cysts? On top of that they get to remove my overy. How hard will it be to get prego again with only one?

  • I've heard of it. In fact I know of someone on here who's daughter has one on her head. It's usually the result of a twin absorbed in utero.

  • I certainly hope you feel better after the cyst is removed, most women can preggo relatively easy with one ovary

  • Yes, I know someone who had this exact same thing, she was fine. You can get pregnant with one ovary, and these days there are a lot of ways that specialists can help that process along too. I hope everything is okay for you!

  • I did and my cyst had hair also and so did my mother who had a cyst. It's gross and no it's not a baby that passed away. Some people think that.
