1 Bump

one twin has been putting hand in diaper and playing w/waste

last 2 weeks on & off melt downs-just starts crying, will not say what is wrong. then will do things like playing w/waste that she should understand is wrong as we have made her tell sitter "sorry" in the past. She and her twins talk very well for their age-but when she has her melt downs she talks like a baby and you can't understand her. when we do get her to calm down she goes back to her (she is the more carefree of the twins), happy self. Help!! any one ever had some of the above problems??

  • how old?

  • When my twins were younger(around 2) and I didn't change them soon enough, they would take their diapers off and smear them all over the crib, walls, carpet and each other. What a stinky mess! Luckily, that phase passed soon. Its amazing what a toddler can do in the 2 minutes it takes for mom to pee.

  • You have to make it so that they cannot access the diapers. Put them into outfits that they cannot take off that completely cover all access to the diaper.

  • Depending on the age maybe it is time to start potty training. If the child is crying all of a sudden it just may be that she is because she has a full diaper and doesn't like it which is why she is doing what she is doing. If old enough I would introduce her to the potty. My DD was potty trained by age 2 1/2 and she didn't have a lot of problems with it she didn't like having the diaper on.

  • My 2nd son was about 18 mos. when he started doing that q1st thing in the morning. It last for about 3-4 mos. and then ended as quickly as it started. We tried everything including duct taping his diapers on. LOL
