  • Try a really thick lip balm like carmex or abreva, even a little vasoline, something that is not easily removed or licked off.

  • Slather his lips when he's asleep. Carmex, Blistex, vaseline, it all works.

  • burts bee's chapstick works but it does sting a bit and makes my 3 year old scream - I would just keep putting it on him or vaseline and when they get over being chapped, make him use it - my son bites/licks his top lip so its making that worse now with winter

  • i have a 3 yrd old that does this also. he likes the chapstick but i also use vasoline i put it on when he goes to bed. so then it still works but at least he gets his lips looking better

  • My son also gets chapped lips, he is 3.5, he HATES carmex and blistex and says they "burn" his lips, so I use just plain vaseline on them or burts bees lip balm, both have worked wonders for him!!
