Holy Sh*t!!!

My daughter has not shut up whining and crying to go to my mother's for about 30 minutes now..I'm running out of nice ways to shoosh her...SUGGESTIONS PLEASE! I don't want to get mad at her but dang!

  • I'd simply let her know that she is not going to your mom's tonite. And that until she can talk like a big girl she'll need to wait in her room.

  • Explain to her why you are not or are going and tell her to stop whining. She is plenty able to understand things now... or should be able to... but tell her if she says something about it again after you have told her not to, then she will be placed in time out till you say she can come out. Give her one more chance after you explain to decide whether or not she is going to listen to you, and depending on what she chooses either punish or reward her.

  • Tell her you're picking up the phone RIGHT NOW to call Santa & tell him not to come to your house this year. Chances are she will stop. That's been getting me my 4 & 5 yr olds to pick up their toys for weeks now!
