spinal headaches after shot in spine

just wanted to say i had these after getting shoy in soine/c section
doc said i did too much too soon
these are far worse than nay migrain i ever had - and i have had 2 day migraines

for anyone that wants to hurry recovery after birth and had spinal shot
please take it easy, it might just save you from this spinal leaking fluid which causes headaches like you would not believe

that's all, if i can stop one person from getting these, well worth it

  • I suffered from spinal rebound headaches for 5 days after receiving a lumbar puncture and it is the most awful pain ever!! I wouldn't wish that pain on my worst enemy (if I had any). I could not get out of bed for days and basically had to crawl to the bathroom to use it. I finally went back into the ER and they had to fill the empty pocket of space with blood to make the headaches go away. I felt 100% better after 2 days. Oh gosh, that was horrendous!

  • I didn't get one, but I have heard they are excruciating. Sorry that happened to you.

  • One of my friends had her spinal fluid punctured during a back surgery years ago and she still gets these headaches and is miserable. I feel so bad for her because they still cannot seem to figure out how to fix it so she is not in pain all the time. :(

  • mine lasted months and months
would be ok until i did something with back
even 8 months later, i shoveled and that winter it was a 50/50 chance if i shoveled i would end up with three day spinal headache
