So if the fluid is stretching 3-5 inches, is mostly clear, and doesn't disolve in water is that most likely fertile fluid and NOT semen?

My cervix is high, open enough that I can insert the tip of my finger in it, and it's medium in softeness so I'm pretty sure that I'm moving towards ovulation.

We had sex this morning and so I wasn't sure if I was seeing fertile mucus or semen?

I read that semen breaks, dissolves in water and is cloudy but I wasn't sure how accurate that information was.

  • Semen can separate and look clear-ish when it comes out. It usually does break, though. It definately sounds ovulation-y to me! Go baby dance! :D
