Mirena you evil piece of plastic... Anyone agree??

My honest opinion... Its an evil piece of worthless plastic (just MY opinion)
I have had it since July2010. And since then its been nothing but pain & problems.
Problems include:
Horrible cramping ALL the time, not just during my cycle.
'feeling it' when i cough sneeze, or laugh
low sex drive
some weight gain... I had my second baby in may2010 a week later i was back in my size 3/5 jeans NOW im in 7/9.
Pain in my uterus I mean PAIN!!
back pain
dizzy spells
& neasuea

Im going to get it removed after Christmas!!
Ugh I thought this B/C was supposed to be carefree, but boy was i WRONG

Anyone else feeling this way??

Had to edit!! I have only had this since July 2010 NOT 2008!! Sorry HUGE typo lol

Also another problem is my pd has actually gotten heavier not lighter like my OB said it would grr

  • i didn't have problems with mine. but when i went to get it out - the dr couldnt find it - on 3 seperate tries - including a try with ultrasound. it was "in" my uterus. closed in my c section scar. i had to have surgery to get it removed - and i could have gotten pregnant the whole time!

  • I didn't hurt that bad with it. Mine did come out of place and got pregnant after I had it for about 3 months.

  • Man, I have had the exact opposite experience.
I had very mild cramps for about two weeks after it was 'installed', and I really haven't had to think about it since. Absolutely no negative side effects, and I haven't had a period in three years.
