A birth control question.

I was told antibiotics can make the birth control basically not work. I got pregnant while I was on the pill/taking antibiotics. So my question is, I have the Mirena now, I'm also taking antibiotics. Do you think it would work the same way?

  • Yes that is true, always tell your doctor what kind of BC you are using and they should tell you to use a condom.
Call your doctor for more questions.
