  • Have you tried getting down on their level and asking them why theyre doing what it is theyre doing? if they give you an explanation explain whats WRONG with what theyre doing. If they cant give an explanation THEN its time out time, come back every 5 minutes and ask agani for the explanation and UNTIL they GIVE you one, dont let them up. It takes consistency but it WORKS! Good luck! :)

  • we have had this problem with my boyfriend's kids. We are still having problems on one of them. But try a timer to time how long they have to set there which is their age. Make sure its not their bedroom. Make sure its their "own" quiet time. After the timer goes off get down in front of them and ask them what they did wrong..make sure they are looking you in the eyes so they know you mean business. And discuss what you can do positive. This came from a behavioral specialist. When we were in this position it took us all we had because thats what they were "prone" to doing. It has changed for the better but also have you tried looking up on the internet ideas?
