  • mostly my thoughts are that I cannot believe how long its taken .... and also shocked that she had to go there and face him day after day. Thank goodness she is so strong and poised because the system is victimizing her like mad.

  • I am glad after 8 years there is a verdict and the family can finally start putting what happened behind them. Hard to do that with a trial looming over your head. Elizabeth is a beautiful young woman and has a bright future ahead of her hard to think such a vile and disgusting person could violate her the way he did.  Such a sad thing to happen but thank goodness she wasn't killed like so many other have been.

  • I live in Utah so the story is so sad hopefully they can now put this behind them. Her family and her have suffered enough it is till scary to hear that story now.

  • I think it's the correct verdict. He has a mental illness but he isn't insane. He knows what reality is or he wouldn't have hidden what he did. I'm happy with the verdict.
