I never hear my husband tell our 2 year old daughter that he loves her...

Your thoughts on that? They do have a great relationship.

  • My husband does/did this too....he's gotten better about telling her a little more. It still doesn't come easy, and I think it's a product of his upbringing.
    I've just encouraged my daughter to say it to him, so at least it's an easy "I love you too" back to her...

    He may feel that he's showing his love in his time with her.  He could feel he's showing his love with the things he provides to her.  

    Not everyone SAYS "I love you".

  • my husband says it to are boys every night after he tukcs them into bed and he isnt a very lovey person but he does say it all the time to them...if they are going to grandmas house he says love you be bad lol
