My cat....

My 4 year old cat is getting sooo extremley skinny and I'm getting worried. I"m going to bring him to the vet, however, he's still active and talkative like he always is, what could be wrong with him? Has this ever happened to anyone else?

  • Glad to see you are going to take the cat to the vet.Take a bit of it's poo with you. It's ok if there is kitty litter on it.Good luck,I hope the vet can find an easy to treat problem or no problem at all.

  • Is kitty pooping and peeing normally? No chance he has worms? The vet will be able to figure it out, it'll be okay.

  • I think you need to check thyroids. Sounds possibly hyperthyroid

  • I know it sounds gross-and it is gross!-but check his poop immediataly after he uses the box, if you see little moving white worms then hes got worms and thats usually what will cause weight loss
