  • I have a sweaty hubby too, and a sweaty DS for that matter!! I got waterproof covers for their pillows that can be taken off and washed--went through a few pillows with DH before I figured that out--they would get pretty stinky after a while before I got those. The ones I have are some kind of teflon-thing from Walmart, not just like a vinyl cover that really doesn't breathe. They feel like a regular pillowcase, and I just put them on under the sheet-matching pillowcase. His body doesn't sweat too bad when he sleeps, so I don't have anything on the bed, though I keep thinking I should, just to protect the mattress better anyway...
But as for as general sweatiness goes--I think it's just genetic, haven't figured any way to turn it off in the 7 1/2 years we've been together, but if you do, let me know! :) HTH

  • A lot of guys do this. Most people have a temperature change while sleeping.
However, it can be a sign of a medical problem, some of which are serious.  Encourage your boyfriend to see a doctor.

  • get an air conditioning unit, keep it low at night just in your guys room, and i would at least have him go to the doc, cause everyone in my family does have heart conditions and sweat alot! lol. but air condtioning will help tremendously!

  • I think he should see a doctor. Just to rule out any problems. Then I would get a window unit, stock up on flannel jammies for you!

  • I don't know. I'd get a mattress protector and pillow protector. Maybe look up excessive sweating to rule out any hidden problems health-wise.
