HELP!! A gal at work asked me to make her some holiday treats, she will pay for them

How do I figure out how much to charge her??
I am making her 2 pies and assorted christmas cookies
I will be pricing everything based on what I have made. So the pies will be one price and each batch of cookies ( 2 dozen each) will be another price. But how do I determine what the price should be?? any ideas from you smart ladies out there??

  • I would add up for the expense of the ingredients, then add a fee for your time of cooking the pies & cookies. Example, all ingredients cost 14.00, you spent 3 hours baking @ 8.00 a hour 24.00 equals 38.00, that is a example, change it to fit your needs, and determine what your time is worth.

  • I saw a local bakery charging $12.95 for pies.
Today I ordered 3 doz cookies from Subway for $17.

    Hope that helps.
