How long Should make up last?

I have mary kay make from 2007,, Only used it a couple of times do you think it's still good,, It smells new... Not the lipstick but the foundation does the lipstick i'll just toss...

    Expiration dates — beginning from the time you first open these products
    Powders and shadows: 2 years
    Cream shadows: 12 to 18 months
    Foundation: 1 year
    Lipstick & lipliner: 1 year
    Mascara & eyeliners: 3 months
    Makeup brushes: Clean weekly using a mild detergent
    Makeup sponges: Replace weekly, or when sponge becomes soiled

  • toss it all. Most stuff is only good a year TOPS

  • Foundation is only good for about 4 months. Once it is exposed to hair bacteria can begin to form and the color begins to change. If it is from 2007 toss it. Nothing should be used for more than a year not even face wash or moisturizers.

  • it depends... eye shadows can last forever, lip stick eye liners mascara foundation really only last for atleast a year.
