My 3.5 year old son has no problem falling asleep, but he wakes several times throughout the night and cannot get back to sleep. He's always had difficulty staying alseep, but he seems to awaken with even more frequency lately. We either walk him back to his bed, without too much interaction---or we tell him to go back to his bed. Either way, I feel badly that he is not getting a restful night's sleep; plus my husband and I are very sleep-deprived.
He rarely eats sugar or processed foods, and he's very active throughout the day at pre-school.
Any ideas on how to help him...even suggestions for any holistic sleep remedies??
