  • depending on what the price range is

You can do a couple massage
A night in a fancy hotel
A gift card to a restaurant with movie tickets (date night)

  • A movie night pack would be a good one. Pick out a romance movie & perhaps an action or scary movie (Or you can get them a movie store gift card), a bag of microwave popcorn, a pack of movie candy & 2 sodas or 2 packets of hot cocoa, Put it all in a nice container with a pretty bow and there you go.

  • I'm in the same situation with my brother in-law and his wife. They are young and they have a good amount of money, so they can get whatever they want. So we are thinking about getting them a $25-$50 gift card to a restaurant or one of those VISA gift cards that they can use anywhere.

  • A "cheaper" (for people on a budget) idea I do is go to goodwill and find a cute basket and a couple of wine glasses. Usually you can get them all for about $5.00 or less. Then put a $10.00 bottle of Asti or something in there, packing tissue paper all around it. Decorate the basket with holly or poinsettias and/or ribbon. You can even buy an etching kit for a few bucks at a craft store and etch their names and "Happy Holidays 2010" or something similar on it. Cute, cheap and romantic.
