DH says I went overboard on Xmas...

I got my son a new desk, an ipod, a docking station for his ipod, a 32in flatscreen t.v., and some other small things, books, games and some clothing. Too much?

  • I would say way to much but I guess it just depends on your financial situation. If you could easily afford that stuff without going into debt or taking $ away from other more important areas then great for you and your son. If you racked up your CC's and will still be paying on it next year then I would agree with your hubby.

  • No disrespect but it's a lot. I'd have opted for either ipod or tv but hey, he'll be REALLY happy~

  • Why didn't you say anything? Tell him to take some things back.

  • What's wrong with that? If you can afford it, go for it. Christmas only comes once a year anyways. Now if you were maxing out credit cards and taking out a second mortgage on your house just to buy your son stuff, yeah, that'd be taking it too far haha!
