How do you keep a 7 year old autistic/adhd kid busy

  • My little brother has ADHD, and legos were like the one thing that was guaranteed to keep him busy and using his imagination. He had tons of different sets so he didn't get bored of them quickly. To be honest, I'm not familiar with autism, but maybe some educational video games? Like something Leapfrog or V-tech. Oh and a train set, that's another thing that my brother spent hours playing with. He had the table with the houses/buildings, people, animals, tree's, ect.

  • It depends on his interest. My 11 year old has autism. He can spend hours looking at books on bridges and roads, following roads on Google Earth, or playing with his matchbox cars. Find out what his interest are and go from there.
