Quilters-what presents can I get my grown step-daughter who has recently started quilting?

  • I agree with the above, make the rulers the clear plastic quilting rulers that are to be used with the rotary cutter
    a cutting mat if she doesn't have one
    quilting pins
    chalk pencils
    good scissors such as gingher's if she doesn't already have them
    a gift certificate for a class is always fun
    good quality quilting threads
    I love Eleanor Burns quilting books they're great for beginners

  • A gift certificate to her local quilt shop.
    a really nice rotary cutter ( I like martelli, it's ergonomic.
    a couple of different sized rulers
    a bunch of fat quarters in colors that she likes

  • Quilt and applique patterns that have been passed on through the years or maybe a subscription to a quilting magazine that includes instructions, etc.
