markers and nail polish remover? please help asap

my kids have gotten into the markers, and i know that nail polish remover takes marker off almost nething, well is it ok if i put the nail polish remover on their bare skin if i wash it off w/ a rag and water right away/

  • yeah It should be fine as long as your kids don't have sensitive skin or other problems.

    I found that a magic eraser from the mr. clean works wonders for getting things off walls.

  • Yeah, definitely! I've had to do it myself before when my oldest colored on my youngest with a Sharpie. Ugh!

  • Yes it is fine. Magic eraser is too harsh, it can burn the skin.

  • Yes, that should be fine. If it wasn't OK for nail polish remover to be on bare skin, we couldn't use it on our nails, right next to all that bare skin.

  • I would also use a very good lotion when done too. The nail polish remover will dry out skin.

  • You could also try a hand sanitizer, alcohol based.
