Sugar substitutes?

Help!! I have a bladder infection and need to go off any kind of sugar until it goes away. I use raw honey in my espresso every morning and if I quit drinking coffee I'll get a massive migraine..no way am I going there..what can I use as a sweetener besides aspartame based chemical crap? It can't metabolize like a sugar at all or it will exacerbate the infection. I read about Stevia, but I was thinking there was a better one, I just can't remember what it is....Ideas anyone?

  • I have heard of something new called Truvia. It's supposed to be a natural sweetener for coffee, baked goods, etc. I haven't personally tried it though. I like using sugar myself in food because I can taste the difference.

  • agave is better than honey. It has less bad sugars in it.

Truvia is good, but it does not taste so great. Smells real good though.....

  • I googled Truvia and Agave..I think Agave is better than regular sugar but Truvia is probably the best bet. I swear there's something else out there though, someone told me once it was better than Stevia...
