  • Flat Coke. Works wonders. Or try clear soda...7up, sprite, etc. Only give a couple ounces every 20 minutes or so. You can also try popsicles.

  • If it's the same thing my DS had a few weeks ago, it runs its course after about a day, but he spiked a really bad fever from it, too. Give him a few hours to settle, and then try him on just ice chips at first. If he can keep that down for about a half hour or so, then try water/juice. It's hard to get them to sip that little, so use a spoon at first.

  • When kids are throwing up repeatedly stop trying to feed them. Start with sips of water no sooner than 15 minutes after the last episode. Stay away from sweet sugary juices. Offer sips frequently as long as he's holding them down. If several hours pass and they keep the water down offer a clear noodles..just the soup. Progress very slowly. If the child continues to throw up and can't keep water or soup broth down see your Dr. Kids dehydrate quickly.
