What do you think of the name Emery Jane? We are having a girl and cannot decide on a name.

  • Emery reminds of me an emery board, which reminds me of Steel Magnolias and the 80's.

    Jane isn't too bad, simple and cute... But Emery is something else.

  • I like Emory....had a little girl in one of my classes named Emory...very cute....not a fan of Jane though.

  • If the middle name weren't Jane then I would have assumed it was a boy name. No offense. But it is your baby and if you love the name then use it =) Quite a few people have given me crap about picking the name Cortland for one of my twin boys and I could care less. I love it

  • I think Emery sounds more like a boy name than a girl name. I graduated from high school with a boy named Emory.

  • Same as above- I think its a boy's name and it reminds me of a nail file. How about Avery, they share similar sounds
