  • All I know is I am going to be pissed if I have to start showing an ID and asking the pharmacist for nutmeg to make a damn pie!

  • WOW! Never heard of this before, who comes up with this stuff?

  • While I am sure it happens, its kind of hyped up on the news. In 6 mo it will be something else they bring to our attention. I doubt too many kids really bother with it. Kind of like the whole Robitussin cough syrup to get high thing.

  • Yep, my husband told me about that years ago.

  • When we were kids we snorted instant KoolAid - the just add water stuff, not the little packet stuff. When we were in HS it was cold pills & DayQuill... And of course all the normal stuff... So, yeah, nutmeg, doesn't shock, although it also doesn't work...

  • I say bring on the nutmeg. At least it's not as bad as some of the other drugs out there, right? I'm sure it's just a fad that will fade away with time.

  • yes, has been happening regularly since the 60's. My dad tried it & said he got really sick. It's no fad, been around for ages.
