is it ok to let baby sleep on boppy pillow?

baby is sick..but even before she was sick she loved to fall asleep on her boppy pillow. but i was wondering if its ok to let her sleep on it..its not a big slant but just enough to help with drainage...
baby is 6 months old btw if this matters...

  • If you're going to be right there next to it (read: sitting on the couch right next to the baby doing simple things that allow you to focus more on the baby than the actual task), then you're probably okay.

    However, if you're going to be putting the baby to bed with the boppy, I wouldn't do it. Find another way to elevate her.

  • I wouldnt. Baby can roll off it and become pinned between matress and pillow. If needed, prop the end of the crib's matress rather than using a boppy.

  • NO. Absolutely not. It says right on the pillow NO SLEEPING. Your baby can slide under it and suffocate.

  • Well, technically no, you shouldn't. Maybe for a daytime nap when you are around. However, no one is perfect and I would not consider this TERRIBLE. Like OP said, a slanted mattress is a better idea. Take a small object, place it underneath the mattress, just to create a bit of an angle. However, if your baby does not sleep in a crib that can be kinda tough! Lol. But I guess most babies do.

  • what if i where to put a blanket over the boppy so its more of a papasan type thing?
