Ever have a turducen?

I wonder how it is? I saw it at the grocery store it is a Turkey, with a duck and a chicken inside of it. I am guessing it is boneless.. It cost $44 so I don't know if it is worth it or not.

  • Absolutely disgusting IMHO. Our friends made it a few years ago and invited us over. I can still remember the taste & it's not a happy memory.

  • We had it last Christmas...it was delicious. Yes, it is usually done boneless, with a different dressing between each bird.

I don't get what sounds gross about it...three kinds of foul served together. The duck is a little darker, but all are good, and the dressings are good. Just don't overcook it, so the whole thing will hold together when you slice it. It looks pretty on the plate that way. :-)

  • I have had it and did not like it at all. It was majorly greasy both times. It just had a bad flavor.
