  • Not done an anon here. I have however had the misfortune to witness some drama on a scrapbook forum when someone decided to take a personal matter from Private Message into the public forum. I was never mentioned by name but wow, those so called friends sure as hell judged me when they didn't know it was me.
Several PMs later and there were some very red faced ladies.

  • I've only asked like 3 anonymous questions since I came to CM, so I'm not really sure about that. However, I have noticed that there are some people on here that I agree with on 98% of things, but then I'll come across their answers on a question and I'm like, "Whoa! I NEVER would have thought (insert name here) felt that way!" Everyone has that button that, when pushed, switches the way the react to things.

  • I've never done anon. I don't understand why people want to. We're basically anon anyway. I don't know people here. I'm just another name without a face.

  • No, though I don't often ask anonymously. Only when its something personal, like health related or whatever, lol. :)

  • Anon because it does offer an extra layer of protection that ends any snarkiness right then and there in that thread and doesn't follow you in emails or into other threads.

  • they do fer sure, but not everyone needs to hear grief from total strangers online, either. I think its funny how people show true colors when they don't realize who it is they are talking to.
