Hello i went off bc in July and got my first period October 14 (i thought it was implantation bleeding because it was soo light i didnt even really need a pad) and then got another period November 29th (6 weeks 4 days later) and that one was a real period. Only thing weird was it was super dark but i read that was normal. Im just wondering after you have your first period after going off bc does that mean you are ovulating? If i have a period every month does that mean im ovulating every month also? Thanks!

  • If you ovulate you will have a period. If you do not ovulate will not have a true period BUT you can have anovulatory bleeding so to answer your question...

NO you will not have a period if you do not ovulate but that doesn't mean you won't bleed.

Get the book Taking Charge Of Your Fertility and learn to chart so you know when you are fertile, if you are ovulating, when you are ovulating and much more!!
