How do you know when your child is thirsty?

Im always worried that my baby doesnt drink enough? How would i know if he was thirsty?

  • They're fine with their feedings. Thirst isn't really an issue with babies

  • Remember that breastmilk or formula is baby's MAIN meal. Solids are an afterthought. If you're always giving breastmilk or formula, FULL FEEDING, before offering even a bite of solids, baby will never be thirsty.

  • my dd is 10 months old and i give her a sippy cup during the day with water in it and she keeps it on the floor or the coffee table and takes a drink whenever she likes!
