IRONIC dont you think?

Tipping the bartender for handing you a bottle of beer, but giving nothing to the guy who pumps your gas in the pouring rain.

  • We always tip the gasman. I feel bad for the bartenders waiting on some of you.. a bartender makes about 90% of her money on your tips.

  • Full service stations are rare. But, when I do find and use one, I ALWAYS tip the guy who filled my car with gas! If he also checked my oil and washed my windows, he gets a bigger tip. Why WOULDN'T you tip the guy?

  • I have a friend in Oregon who owns 2 Shell stations. It is also illegal to pump your own gas in OR. I had never heard this before she bought the sataions. I find it funny since we've all pumped our own for so many years! LOL.
