  • Is it moist or slightly sticky? Does it have an odor. A yeast infection, even on the skin will have an odor, and be slightly sticky.

  • Are you sure his bum is getting clean after he wipes? Try the moist flushable wipes, it should help!

  • A lot of times kids just do not wipe well enough, keep wipes near the toilet.

  • Try wipes near the toilet. And explain to him to keep himself clean.

  • You really shouldn't just radomly treat him for stuff.
Have the Doctor check him out. When my son was about 7 he got strep on his bum, he was itching like crazy. You can have strep in more than just your throat. And it is so easy to get just touch a strep/germ infested surface and touch your butt (as in wiping) and you can get it.
That is why if you are sick you should never blow your nose and wipe yourself (after using the toilet) with the same tissue
