Is it normal to have a period when breastfeeding?

I have had 2. I always thought you wouldn't have a period while breastfeeding.

  • Yup! I got mine back when I was exclusively nursing my son 3 months after I had him. I'm still nursing my son at age 2, and I've had regular cycles since he was a little baby. I just got pregnant so thankfully they should stop, lol. Some women don't get periods, and some do. Luck of the draw!
