how do you get on the toys for tots list or any other toy charity give aways?

  • Contact your local united way.

    You can probably reach them by callinf 2-1-1, just like you would dial 9-1-1.

  • Contact your local social service office/salvation Army office and you will need to hurry...
    they all have dead lines and or their lists may be full....

  • it's pretty close to christmas, so it might be too late. But still give it a try and contact social services or salvation army!

  • You could call around to some of your local churches and sign up for which ever charity they are participating in.

  • Toy for Tots is through your local Marine Corps League. You can look them up in the phone book or talk to the local recruiting office and they will tell you the date when the toys will be handed out. I am a member of the the Marine Corps League and we place and ad in the news paper to let everyone know when we will be handing out toys. On the day of the event,children and their parents line up and file in to pick out one large and one small toy until everything is gone.
