A four year old that finishes 300 piece puzzles within 1-2 days......

Is this common or kind of uncommon? rarely finishes in 3 days if he gets bored of doing the puzzle for a bit.

  • I would call that focused and driven, and uncommon for sure

  • My 4yo does 100 piece puzzles but nothing more (stuff marked for 5+) and has been doing them since she turned 3. Some kids just "get" puzzles. I was one of them. I was doing 500 piece puzzles on my own at like 6 or 7 and helping my mom with 5000 piece ones (with the tiny strange looking pieces). My brother never got puzzles and hated them.
When my 4yo was in school last year (at 3 1/2) they did puzzles first thing and every puzzle were those wooden ones with the little shapes with the peg in them. She was so bored, lol. She had already aced 24 and 36 piece puzzles and could do most 64 piece and some 100 piece puzzles. She's been doing the 24 piece ones since she was 2 1/2 (without help).
