Can you name some romantic getaways?

I am trying to get some ideas as to where I can take my boyfriend for his birthday in February. He wants Miami, but I thought somewhere exotic. Although, I am not against Miami.

  • There's some really nice cabins up here in Washington state. We took the kids a few years ago for Valentines Day and we stayed in a really nice log cabin overlooking the river, with a hot tub on the deck. Nothing more romantic than sipping champagne in the hot tub while the snow falls all around you. SO beautiful. And during the day, you can sit on the deck snuggled up under a nice warm blanket with hot cocoa and watch the beavers play in the river and the eagles flying over the river. And about an hour's drive away is the town of Leavenworth, WA. Perfect for a day trip. You should look it up, if it's not too far for you to go.

  • Miami is a great place to go, but stay in South Beach. Lots of sidewalk cafe, the Cuban coffee and food are wonderful.
