I have a 3 month old & my hair is falling out in patches!

I am not stressed or anything & my doctor says it is normal. I am considering getting a wig! What should I do!

  • Calm down! Your doctor is right, it is normal. It's just the hormones in your body going back to normal. It'll be okay, you won't need to get a wig, it's fine. Is this your first baby?

  • yeah it's normal. when you're pregnant you grow LOTS of hair. when you finally have the baby, that hair falls out. you shoulda seen my drain after a shower after i had my kids. i kept having to clean the dang thing

  • For some women their bodies don't shed as much hair while pregnant and after the baby is born the hormones let the hair go around 3-5 months postpartum. I had this happen with both my kids and it will stop. Did your hair get thicker while pregnant? That is usually a sign you will have the post partum hair loss.

  • I lost TONS of hair after having each of my kids. Totally normal... sucked, but normal.
