how much milk?

How much do you give your one year old? Dd is going to be on the 18th. Right now I have cut her down to three formula bottles, one milk bottle, three meals and snacks. Once the last bit of formula is gone then she's going to be done with it. I'm just not sure how much milk she should be drinking?

  • I never limited my kids, as long as they didn't get lactose intolerant. There were times they went through a gallon a day.

  • They should ideally be getting between 12-16 oz a day, is what I've been told and have read.

  • 16- 24 oz a day but ask your peditrician what he or she reccommends. I told him at 15 months my dd was drinking close to 30 oz a day and he said it was fine since she was still eating her meals well.....
