how soon after ovulation will a blood test show beta hcg???

  • ive read that blood shows before urine, so if the urine is 12-14 days wouldnt blood show before that?

  • 9 DPO is typically where doctors recommend you be before a blood test but some will do it earlier.

    I personally would just wait.

  • HCG is made by the placenta. So it has to be working for any hcg to show up anywhere. Allow a week for a fertilized egg to travel to the uterus and implant. Blood test by around ten days MAYBE depending on how much the placenta is pushing at the time of the test. My blood test registered positive at just under two weeks. My BFF never got a positive blood test. She found out she was pregnant when they finally did an ultrasound and confirmed she had just passsed the first trimester. It all depends on the individual.
