im having numbness and tingly feelings in my pelvic area and under my belly where contractions are. anyone know what this means or what causes it. should i be concerned. i am 39 weeks.

  • That happens sometimes. It's from blood flow being a bit restricted. As long as your baby is having a normal level of activity, Don't worry about it.

  • it can happen as your baby moves down and gets ready to be born. are you having contractions along with it as well. just to be safe i would do a kick count which if you dont know is whe you take like 30 min and count how man times you can feel h baby. if the baby is moving alot then you really dont have to do the whole 30 and if you have little or no movement i would do it for an hour and if you still have little or no movement call your doctor and let him know. If anything calling your doctor is always the best thing to do, thats what there there for. good luck and congrats
