How old is too old for taking pictures with Santa?

I have two kids (9 & 7) boy & girl I have been taking them to take pics with Santa all these years and this year my dh said they look too old for Santa and yes our kids have grown its to the point where they did not sit on his lap and they do look alittle too
I don't my kids whenever I hear them say NO no more pics with Santa then I'll stop taking them but my dd was like no no no I don't want to stop so I just might have to take her by after I did take my ds when he was little alone before she came along.
Thanks Ladies!!!

  • Yeah 9 might be too old, anytime they look awkward in his lap is time to stop.

  • They don't have to sit on his lap, they can stand beside him. I have even gotten pics of teenagers with santa. I don't think they are too old unless they start complaining.

  • Hey as long as they want to go when they start to complain is when I would also stop.

  • I don't think a little girl her age should be sitting in a strange man's lap. I'm not being vulgar, it's just at some point not a good idea. I'd listen to dad. He may be thinking the same thing.

  • let the kids decide when to stop. my 14 daughter still goes see santa with her younger brother but my 13yr old stopped 2 yrs ago stating its for babies. until then enjoy the santa trips while they last.
