  • like lambdarose said. blocks. even educational movies. so they can learn numbers and letters in different ways. books. 2 is a hard year. my son had just gotten into the thomas the train and etc. half a year ago.. and he'll be 3 in march. so 2 is a tough age. but do think about what he can also grow in. i have had to learn that.

  • my son is 19months old. we got him alot of things to redecorate his room (new bedding set, table & chair set, toy organizer etc) also got him coloring books & crayons. Any educational toys are great, books, at this age they are pretty easy to buy for! A few years from now comes all the hard & expensive things!

  • Things to build or books. Trains are usually a good hit. Also look into things from LeapFrog of Vtech. There are some great things that are educational that would help keep his attention and help him learn. All kids start off with a a short attention span so keep showing him things that are fun and he will catch on. To help keep his interest stop the fun at the height of the fun. So when it's going great, stop and find something else to do. That will help him want to play more with the toy that he had so much fun with. Good luck! :)
