At what age...

At what age did you start putting baby utensils on the high chair for them to use? My daughter is only ten months old and I know she's too young but she always wants to hold the spoon and grabs it out of my hand.

  • I agree if she is trying to take it from you then let her have it. Have an extra one for yourself so that you can show her how to use it and then maybe try and guide her while she uses the one she is holding.

  • If she wants the spoon, then by all means give it to her and show her how to use it.

  • Once mine started grabbing, I gave them one. They can't use them effectively for months, but that's no reason not to let them hold one.

  • I didn't until they asked for them and could imitate using them
