  • I think its a great accomplishment and history in the making. Whether people like him or not it IS history. He IS the first african american president. Personally, I like him and I think America made the right choice. It is time for a change. He talks a good game...but as with all politicians, lets see if he will come through with it. I hope so, our country needs it.

  • I am not surprised and have been preparing myself for this ever since Ron Paul lost the Republican Party nomination. I was appalled at the number of independent votes, since both candidates this election were very poor choices for president, all racial issues put aside, and I do not believe that they were all counted. An Obama administration will be worse that the Bushes. There will be more war, more bailout legislation, more taxes and more government. This is not the change America wants! Time will tell...
